Best known for it’s beautiful beaches, Bali is a popular spot for surfing and diving. The huge number of surfers coming to Bali from all over the world have also attracted major surfing brands to enter Bali to supply swim and surf gear.

Take a walk along Kuta Square or any shopping malls in Bali and you can easily spot Billabong, Volcom, Ripcurl & Quiksilver stores. Not one, but two or three stores can be found within a stretch of stores leading to Kuta Beach. These branded stores can be up to 3 storeys high, with wider range of designs as compared to Singapore. With regular price at about 10-20% cheaper than in Singapore, majority of these stores near Kuta Beach has a sale section on their 3rd level where you can get up to 40% off off-season items.
If price is a factor for you, go further out along Jl. By Pas for their factory outlet stores at up to 90% off.
Here, you can find Hurley, Oakely, O’Niels, Billabong, RVCA, Havaianas Ripcurl and more. There are 3 major buildings approx 2-300 metres apart, so if you can’t find your size or spot anything you fancy, just walk down the road and check out the next outlet.
For the ladies, you can easily get a set of Billabong bikini for $40 a set here (up to $120/set in SG)
Besides bikinis and tee shirts, you can also find slippers, bags, boardshorts and shoes.
What I’ve snagged:
Billabong Slippers $15 (usually $39 at SG stores)
Billabong Boardshorts for men $17 (usually above $40 at SG Stores)
Ripcurl & Billabong tees for $10 each
Perhaps next time when you visit Bali, you can go without packing any clothes! 🙂
