Adidas has stepped up its game with this new sports luxe collection. The 3D Mesh Bags collection that looks remarkably similar to Issey Miyake’s Bao Bao series, urges you to fish out your wallet and simply splurge. Every bag comes complete with minimalistic 3D triangular pieces, which makes the design extremely intriguing and unique. Check out the collection in its full glory below!
Adidas Originals Bucket Gym Sack (¥7549)
This drawstring bag is on its own playing field. Made up of faux leather, this Gymsack is certainly sturdier than the other drawstring bags in the market. The bag is also topped with a carry handle, and hence doubles as a bucket bag!
Even though it is named the Gymsack, it would be a total waste if you only carried this gorgeous piece when you want to sweat it out; I’m sure you will agree that this bag is befitting of your #OOTD along Orchard Road. While this bag was originally intended for the ladies, we personally feel that our male friends have the right to look THIS stylish too!
Adidas Originals Mini Airliner (¥7020)
This tiny wonder will definitely be my new go-to bag in my expanding wardrobe. The contemporary design of the Mini Airliner adds a stylish touch to even your most basic weekend outfit. The cross-over bag also comes with a shoulder sling, allowing you to pull off this precious piece in more than one way.
The compact size makes it just right for the storage of your daily essentials. Nothing too big or too small. Simply put, this bag has achieved the two most important “F”s in the world of iconic bags: Functional and Fashionable. What more can we ask for?
Adidas Originals Urban Roll Up Backpack (¥11869)
Just when we thought that we’ve had enough of backpacks, Adidas released this bag and took our breath (and money) away. The main compartment is roomy, and in its interior, comes with a sleeve that allows you to store your laptop comfortably. It is no doubt that you can also fit a whole list of barang-barangs in the bag without looking too bulky. For convenience, the zip at the back allows easy retrieval of items from the main compartment.
Where to buy:
As far as we know, this bag was launched in Japan, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Thailand and Australia at various price points. They were snapped up at most of the stores and are extremely hard to get hold of at this moment. Keeping our fingers crossed that Adidas will re-stock them soon!
Desperate to find it in Singapore, many Airfrov users have already posted a request for their favourite bag from this Adidas Collection. If you can already hear these bags calling out to you, post a request to get a traveller help hunt down these bags – no guarantees!
